What Occupational Therapy services are provided?

Occupational Therapy (OT) plays a vital role in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), supporting participants to achieve greater independence, improve daily living skills, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Our Occupational Therapists work collaboratively with NDIS participants to assess their individual needs, develop tailored intervention plans, and implement strategies to help them reach their goals. OT services under the NDIS may include:

  • Functional Assessments – Comprehensive evaluations to determine a participant’s abilities and support needs.

  • Daily Living Skills Development – Assistance with personal care, home management, meal preparation, and other essential tasks.

  • Assistive Technology & Equipment Prescription – Recommending and trialing mobility aids, adaptive devices, and home modifications to enhance independence.

  • Sensory Processing & Regulation Support – Strategies to help individuals manage sensory sensitivities and improve their ability to engage in daily activities.

  • Mental Health & Wellbeing Support – Helping participants develop coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and participate in meaningful activities.

  • Capacity Building & Community Engagement – Supporting participants in building confidence in accessing the community, work, and social activities.

As an NDIS provider, we are committed to delivering person-centered, evidence-based therapy that empowers individuals to live their best lives. Whether the goal is to enhance mobility, improve social participation, or gain independence at home, our team is here to support participants every step of the way.
