  • Vicky - Owner

    Vicky is the director here at ViCare Support Services and she is an experienced Social Worker with a demonstrated history working with people who have acquired traumatic brain injuries, as well as chronic disabilities, mental health and behavioural issues.

    Matters of concern that Vicky specialises in include centrelink, child protection, adolescent behavioural concerns, homelessness, NDIS, aged care, end-of-life planning, counselling, financial abuse/concerns, public housing, and community welfare services.

    Vicky understands that living with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) or spinal cord injury (SCI) comes with significant challenges—for both individuals and their families. As a Social Worker specializing in TBI and SCI in New South Wales, Vicky is here to provide the guidance, advocacy, and support you need to navigate your recovery and regain independence.

    Vicky work’s with iCare insurance clients and NDIS participants, helping you access the right services, funding, and resources to improve your quality of life. Whether you're adjusting to a new way of living, facing barriers in your daily routine, or struggling to navigate complex systems like the NDIS or iCare, she can help make the process easier.

    More recently, Vicky has been focused on completing level 1, 2, and 3 Support Coordination services for participants of the NDIS.

  • Cherie - O.T

    Since graduating as an Occupational Therapist in 1990, Cherie has predominately worked in the area of community based rehabilitation. Her areas of specialty include brain injury, spinal cord injury, dementia, musculoskeletal and psychological rehabilitation.

    Cherie has extensive experience in the public and private sector as both an Occupational Therapist and Case Manager. Cherie has specialised experience in driving assessments and training, and pain management ultilising the Abilita model. Cherie also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Safety Science from 2003 and has provided companies assistance with risk management and training.

    Cherie’s experience includes a period of working as an Occupational Therapist in a specialist based services in Canada and England.

    Cherie has also held a casual Occupational Therapy teaching position at Western Sydney University and has presented at various conferences. Services have been provided under privately paying clients, NSW CTP, NSW Workers Compensation, Comcare, NSW Lifetime Care and Support Authority (LTCS) and WorkCare, Workcover QLD, Life Insurance, and NDIS. Cherie is a full member of Occupational Therapy Australia and has full registration status enabling her to practice Nationally as an Occupational Therapist.

    Cherie is committed to maintaining a high level of professional development to keep up to date with the latest research and ensure she is able to deliver a best practice approach for her clients.

  • Mat - Psychologist

    Mathew is our psychologist here at ViCare Support Services and a valued part of our multidisciplinary team. As an experienced graduate of Western Sydney University, Mathew brings a warm, empathetic approach and a deep understanding of mental health, with expertise in supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, and more.

    His commitment to person-centred care aligns perfectly with our values at ViCare. Mathew works closely with our support coordinators and social workers to ensure clients receive cohesive, well-rounded support that meets both their psychological and practical needs.

    With Mathew on board, our participants have direct access to trusted psychological support, helping them build resilience, develop coping strategies, and make meaningful progress toward their goals as part of their NDIS or iCare journey.

  • Abbey - Allied Health Assistant

    Abbey is an Allied Health Assistant with a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Sydney, bringing a strong analytical and clinical foundation to her work. In her role, Abbey supports operational processes, clinical documentation, and service coordination to ensure our allied health services are delivered efficiently and to a high professional standard.

    With her background in medical science, Abbey has a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and complex health conditions, which allows her to approach administrative and coordination tasks with precision and clinical awareness. She works closely with the team to support quality assurance across services.

    She plays a key role in maintaining structure and consistency within the team, ultimately contributing to safe, organised, and client-focused service delivery.

  • Demi - Allied Health

    Demi is an Allied Health Assistant who primarily supports our team through administration and service coordination, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of client supports. With a strong background in Social Work and currently completing her Bachelor of Social Work at the Australian Catholic University, Demi brings valuable insight into the complexities of the NDIS and the broader social and healthcare systems.

    Her understanding of client needs, trauma-informed practice, and multidisciplinary care allows her to approach administrative tasks with depth, accuracy, and compassion. Demi plays an important behind-the-scenes role in maintaining high standards of service delivery while contributing thoughtful input to support client outcomes.
